In the Dr Who story "Brave New Town" Nick can be heard doing his best Russian accent and a hint of Suffolk (see if you can spot the difference between his two characters, Karamov and PC Sharp); and in Barnaby Edwards' adaptation of "Phantom of The Opera" he rather cleverly avoids any
trace of a french accent as the policeman, Milfroid, and Lachenel, the ostler.
Previously heard on BBC7 both productions are now available on C.D. from Big Finish.
In July Nick played "Rocket" Smith in the audio adaptation of the 1965 stage play "The Curse of the Daleks" for
Big Finish, and in September he will be recording his second Dr Who adventure with Paul McGann & Sheridan Smith, "The Beast of Orlock". Both will be released later in the year.
Nick is thrilled to be back with U.K. productions for his ninth year playing Dame as Widow Twankey
in Aladdin in Malvern; and even more thrilled to be with best mate, Clive Mantle;
Hannah Waterman & Michael Absalom also star in the panto.
Aladdin runs from 18th December 2008 - 11th January 2009

On Saturday 21st June, Nick was proud to appear in front of HRH Prince Charles in a live celebration of the Centenary of the Territorial Army on Horseguards Parade. He played MP, Richard Haldane presenting his bill
to the House of Commons in 1908 to form a reserve force.
In an amazing display of courage, in front of an audience of 6000,
Nick performed using a Scottish accent.
The first half of April was spent aboard P&O's Oriana on the
3 week return leg of it's 2008 World cruise travelling from
Cape Town to Southampton, performing with Ray Cooney in
his two farces, "Out of Order" and "It Runs in the Family"
Nick also popped up in Eastenders through the year, playing Mr Lister, the Market Inspector (January, August and October); continued doing trailers for Zone Thriller and presenting The Comedy Channel for Emirates Airlines; and of course, there was also Mr Squeaky, the launderette owner, in CBeebies' Nuzzle & Scratch.
